Vernon, FL (1981) ★★★★1/2

Slice of life documentary done immaculately. This film is packed with charm and quirkiness. Another director might’ve taken the low road and used these people as comedic punching bags but Errol Morris captures the folk of Vernon with love and transparency. We are never looking down on them and by the end of this 55 minute film, Vernon, FL almost feels a bit like home.
