Velvet Buzzsaw (2010) ★★★

Spoilers to follow:

Jake Gyllenhaal is wonderfully charismatic and when he died, I checked out. Granted that’s towards the end, but still. I was far less intrigued by the “fun” pulpy deaths than I was in the backstory of the Dease art itself. Give me more Gyllenhaal and Malkovich and less of just about everyone else.
