Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales “Oro de Calabaza.” ★★☆

This is traditional sour golden ale. Admittedly, it’s less sour than we expected. The spicy and peppery notes come forward as the most dominant flavors leaving a weirdly dry and tangy finish. Jonny and I both wanted something a little more sour and less vegetal. We’d recommend this to enthusiasts of the style but if you’re out and after an actually SOUR sour beer, this isn’t for you.
