The Biggest Little Farm (2018) ★★★

Cute and heartfelt with a strangely uncompeling narrative. The strength of this film lies in what is has to show of the beauty of nature and that’s about it. Some of the dramatic narrative elements at times felt a bit soap-boxy (the coyote arc in particular) and though I absolutely get the point they’re trying to make, it just felt a little out of place. This doc could’ve stood alone without the dramatic story beats but still works as a window into the lives of two people trying to craft their lives into something meaningful in a truly gorgeous way.
