The Vast of Night ★★★

The Vast of Night is a story I would be happy to call good radioif it weren’t for the fact that it’s also pretty good cinema. This film is definitely a mood piece that unsurprisingly owes a lot to The Twilight Zone and gleans some vibey inspiration from Brick. Not exactly my cup of tea when all said and done but some really wonderful cinematography, a great score, and darn good performances. I’d be happy to steep in this again.
