“This was a fairly enjoyable, if somewhat predictable thriller made quite a bit better by a really convincing performance by Elizabeth Moss (doing the best “Edward Norton in Fight Club” impression I’ve seen in a while). Starting off, the film seemed interested in exploring psychology, trauma, and victimhood in very real and tangible ways BUT by the end those very pertinent themes, especially within the abusive relationship framework, sort of get lost in the ambition of the movie to deliver “twists.””
