"Bumblebee" (2018) ★★★★

OF COURSE Hailee Steinfeld could revitalize/save, nay- transform this franchise into something worth our time. Give me Charlie and Bumblebee cruising the California coast to 80’s pop any day. I would give a year of my life to hang out with them in her garage for a day. There’s just SO much to love here. From the self-awareness/baddassery of John Cena to some incredible looking Transformers that only make SOME things go BOOM, this movie is the pinnacle of what a Transformer movie can be.
