Victory Brewing Company "Sour Monkey" ★★★★

It’s surprisingly drinkable and balanced for a 9.5% sour. It’s strong but not overpowering. This beer is kiiiind of crushable. It reminds me of white grape juice but more sour. It has some nice carbonation upfront and a bit of a mouthwatering tang on the finish. It doesn’t have an over-the-top acidity like a lot of sours do. I feel like I could drink 12oz of this comfortably.

So theres A LOT in this beer. Doesn’t drink like a 9.5%. It’s VERY tart with some sweet/earthy spicy qualities that kind of leaves me with a tingle. For me it’s a bit assertive. It’s doesn’t leave me with too much “pucker,” and has a fairly round finish. It’s super interesting
