Level Brewing "Sweep the Leg" ★★ 1/4

I would’ve loved to have experienced this fresh because it definitely tastes a bit old. It’s got something of a tang to it that probably isn’t supposed to be there. Stylistically, it’s a flavor that probably shouldn’t be in this beer (compared to, say, a pilsner) but it’s hard to say because we aren’t getting the truest representation of this beer. We only have what’s in front of us to judge off of. It finishes just a little bitter and stale and kind of cardboard-ey. I have a feeling this beer would’ve been super crisp and refreshing/crushable when it was fresh. As is, I wouldn’t purchase this again. If I saw it fresh I’d give it a…. fresh judgement but alas, I can only judge what’s in my glass.
