Zodiac (2007) ★★★★

Can someone scream “neo-noirgasm?!” My god. The diner scene with Ruffalo and Gyllenhaal is pure magic. I’ve managed to avoid all knowledge of the Zodiac killings prior to seeing this movie and it made those final text blurbs all the more frustrating. Regrettably I watched this film for the first time over the span of three days. I worry that some of the grit washed over me without really sticking but, overall this is a fantastically intense movie.
