The Invisible Man ★★★
This was an enjoyable, if, fairly predictable thriller made quite a bit better by a really convincing performance from Elizabeth Moss. Starting off, the film seemed interested in exploring themes of psychology, trauma, and victimhood in really tangible ways but by the end, those very pertinent themes, especially within the framework of an abusive relationship sort of get lost in the film’s ambition to deliver satisfying “twists.”
