"Attempted Muder" by Bombastic Brewing ★★★

This beer literally tried to kill me. I’m bleeding.

It’s thin, effercescent, and bubbly. There’s nice roasty notes up front with vanilla in the middle and cinnamon on the mid-back end. It finishes roasty and with a bunch of cinnamon- almost like you’ve just sipped black coffee. I wanted it to drink more like a cinnamon roll. It’s lacking mouthfeel with respect to viscosity. It’s nice because it drinks like a traditional stout. It’s very light. I love the robustness of the vanilla right up front. Overall it’s not a bad beer. Drinks like a non-barrel aged porter so you’re gonna get thinness and WAY too much carbonation. Like….  CALM DOWN BOMBASTIC.
